A private home is seeking an experienced full time estate manager/butler for a luxury residence in Beverly Hills, CA. The residence is home to a couple with no children who enjoy entertaining friends and family, and spend time traveling for work and leisure. The perfect candidate for this open position will have prior experience in managing a larger home as well as hospitality experience. Job Responsibilities: The luxury estate manager/butler will manage the day-to-day operations of the estate to ensure smooth running of the household as well as function as a private secretary to the home owners, tending to their personal needs and the needs of any guests. - greet guests and provide formal (but comfortable) service during visit -oversee home renovations -bidding out small home maintenance project cost with vendors -Work with, schedule, supervise and upkeep of maintenance schedules for household vendors: HVAC, electrician, -plumbing, generator, well systems, etc. -Order and maintain personal stock for household supply inventories -Organize, package, ship and receive deliveries and packages for household -assist in planning of events & dinner parties -Organizing closets and rooms -Purchasing household items -serve food and drinks -assist with meal preparations (does not need to have formal cooking experience) -Running nearby errands occasionally -book travel arrangements -Organize home owners luggage Qualifications and Skills: -Minimum 5 year prior experience as a butler and estate manager -Outstanding references from both current and previous employers. References will be verified. -Experience managing minimum 8,000 sq ft. home -Maintain a high level of etiquette and professionalism -Experience in hosting formal gathering inside the home -Discretion -Ability to manage several ongoing home projects at a time -Facilitates home owner’s day-to-day lives -General understanding of household mechanical systems, appliances, technology, and routine maintenance practices of these systems. -Flexible scheduling with availability to work overtime and weekends as needed. -Consistent pleasant demeanor -Taking residence in the home is not required Benefits and Salary: The compensation for this position is $60,000 yearly, health benefits to be discussed.
