Description
We are looking to rehome our 5.5YR old merle Great Dane. She needs to go to a home with no children or small animals. She has developed an aggression towards strangers and small animals as she has aged. She is very friendly and sweet to our family but when guests come she becomes anxious and aggressive. She does not realize her size or strength and therefore is not safe around small animals, other large dogs would probably be fine. We are asking for a vet reference, home visit to make sure she gets along with members of your household (animals and human), and a rehoming fee in order to verify a serious adoption. This dog is very expensive to take care of and needs a lot of attention. Food alone is $100/mo. She will need plenty of room to run outdoors as well. She is house broken and knows basic commands. She is spayed and UTD on shots as well. It really saddens our family to have to rehome her but for the safety of other pets and visitors in our home we feel we have no other choice.
