WHO WE ARE Cascade Building Services is a rapidly growing company excelling in a wide variety of building cleaning and maintenance services. We are looking for qualified people who want to grow with our company. We serve areas from Kalama, Washington, to Salem, Oregon, and have been established since 1961. We are currently hiring for full-time day-time general laborer or cleaner. Ideal candidates have a sense of pride in their work at an efficient pace. Experience is preferred, though we will look at any candidate who can demonstrate the ability to take on the primary responsibilities. JOB SUMMARY Responsible for cleaning buildings per established list of tasks, checklists or supervisor instruction. This position has opportunities for the individual to grow into different positions in the company through on-the-job training. Some responsibilities and duties of the job include: Clean up trash or other debris, indoors or outdoors, unload items at transfer station. Operate leaf blowers, vacuum cleaners, dusting equipment, floor machines or other cleaning equipment to complete assigned tasks. Emptying trash, replacing liners. Emptying recycling into correctly identified receptacles. Using chemicals, per safety training, to accomplish cleaning tasks. Some of the requirements of this position are as follows: Must have adequate transportation to the job location. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs Must be self-aware of surroundings due to safety concerns based on the location. Must be physically fit to stand for longer periods. Must be efficient, have attention to detail and work with autonomy when supervision is not present. Must be a good communicator with other Cascade team members and take direction from supervisors. Having a clean driving record to drive company vehicles is a plus. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 /hour Work Location: Convene daily in Tualatin, Oregon.
