Local Recycling Facility in Portland is looking for full time shop assistants. This is M-F with potential OT on Saturday but not required. Excellent Culture with definite growth opportunities. This position is Temp to Hire through All Star Labor and Staffing. Our current placements love working here and the schedule is family focused and has EXCELLENT benefits once hired. Duties will include: • Mechanic shop upkeep (Cleaning & Organizing) • Assisting the mechanics with smaller repairs • Basically, a shop assistant. (Fetching parts for repairs) • The work inside & outside. (If its raining, they will be wet. If its hot, they will be hot) lol • Lifting, ladders, must be physically fit and able to stand 85% of the day. • Must be able to speak and understand English • Forklifts (We will train) • No tennis shoes. Steel toed shoes are not required. • No shorts • No clothing with advertising on it. (Hooters, Trump, Biden, etc.) • Must be able to take direction well.
