Years ago Dr. Mehmet Oz started appearing on Opera's TV show as a medical expert. As a result of those appearances, he got his own national TV show. Dr. Oz just announced he is entering the Pennsylvania primary as a Republican for the U.S. Senate. I find it ironic that a leftwing liberal like Opera would end up being responsible for opening the door for a conservative like Dr. Oz to enter politics.
