Come work for Joseph Tree! We are a growing Tree Service in the Dublin area with a small company, non-corporate, environment. We offer services ranging from tree removals, pruning, and plant health care. We have been planting more and more trees over the years and are currently putting together a planting and stump grinding division. The role you are applying for is the foreman of this operation. This is a full-time job with a Monday thru Thursday schedule (4 – 10 hour shifts). Overtime is ALWAYS optional and you will never be forced to work more than 40 hours. You will be working year-round, with the planting season going from the end of March until late November. In the winter months, your responsibility will be to continue to grind stumps for our removal crews as well as pruning (and possibly) removing trees on our commercial properties. The role of the foreman is to be the primary contact for on the job. You will manage 1-2 individuals as well as physically be digging, grinding, operating equipment and planting, as well as making sure the job is completed with the proper arboriculture standards. The right person for the job is responsible and has the ability to communicate well and has the mindset to do quality work. There’s no experience required for this position. All necessary training will be paid for by the company. This training will include Tree Care Industry certifications, commercial drivers license, and the arborist certification. If you have any certifications from the National Association of Landscape Professionals or the Ohio Nursery & Landscape Association, those will transfer over and effect your compensations positively. We have a “earn your own” pay raise program. An individual can theoretically earn 5-7 dollars more in a single year if they put in the effort.
