Duties included not limited to: • Prepare, coat, and finish all metals and/or other surfaces. • Operate conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of surfaces. • Clean paint lines, paint guns and performs other cleaning preventative maintenance to ensure that painting apparatus remains in working order. • May also perform duties of Prep Worker. • Initiate and maintain all applicable paperwork as required. • Follow all safety rules and practices. • Set up blaster equipment • Apply coatings through conventional, airless, and plural spray systems. • Apply paint with brush and roll. • Operate various types of equipment such as blast pots and spray guns. • Knowledge of various painting methods and applications. • Spray with consistent millage. • Knowledge of various blasts. • Prepare surfaces. • Mix paints and fireproofing materials to desired consistencies. • Understanding or reading of drawings and/or blueprints • Safe operation of construction tools and equipment • Grinding, sanding, and polishing • Painting, caulking, and sealing • Fireproof Experience Preferred • Industrial Painting Preferred, willing to learn Fireproofing if no experience. Job Type: Full-time Pay per experience. Schedule: • Start 6:30 -7 AM; Typical end time: 3:30 – 5 PM • Monday – Friday Day shift, sometimes we work weekends and some nights as needed to complete certain jobs.
