Seeking Bass Player for Jams

We are a couple of 50 somethings, drums and guitar (me), seeking a bass player to round out our power trio. Our original bass player of the last 5 years has moved on, so, we seek a new thumper. :-) We play many covers, VH, Judas Priest, Live, Thin Lizzie, Johnny Rivers, Animals, KISS, and so, so, much more. All covers are our own versions, we are NOT a cover band! 70s thru 2000s, whatever we LIKE, not what everyone else plays. We also have an extensive list of originals and always more in the works, originals and covers. While gigging is never actually off the table, that is not our goal. We have gotten over gigging some years ago, now it is about the pleasure, the fun, the joy of music, not the work. We have successful careers. We do some recording as well. I have a very well equipped and spacious studio space in South Setauket, we get together Saturday afternoons. If you are seasoned and experienced, but NOT about gigs and money, this might be for you! If you are an intermediate player looking to grow and play with others, this might be for you! You do not have ego and want to just make some great music with others, this might be for you! You have interest in collaborating on original music, this might be for you! Vocal ability is a plus, but not needed. Currently I am the only one singing, it is limited and I am NOT that good. lol Gear, optional, I have plenty of pro bass gear here, but, of course, you can bring whatever you wish, keep in mind, the studio space is a basement, so STEPS!!! lol Thanks for reading!!!!
