How thoroughly thoughtful of you to cancel your attendance to our son's birthday party at the last possible minute. So godly! I know you looked down your nose at us because we weren't as religious as you, we didn't go to bible school or attend an organized religion, and we said "Oh my god!" or even "Oh my gosh!" so we were probably HORRIBLE sinners in your hyper-religious eyes. I just wish you never would have agreed to come in the first place. You should've just told us No, instead of leading on a 12 year old boy who thought your kids were his friends. He learned an extremely important lesson: what true friendship is. And it was NOT this. If you didn't want to be our friends, you should not have LIED to us and told us "we should get together!" to our faces. You didn't need to do that, but you did it anyway. I knew you had no interest in being our friend because you never even asked my son to do anything not even once. I knew you thought we were "bad influences" on your angel boys who could do no wrong. Well I've got news for you honey, your boys are going to grow up and leave your nest someday very soon, and you can't hover over them keeping them from hearing what other people say forever. Someday they're going to have to learn how to deal with and accept people who (gasp!) say Oh my god! So sad that rustles your jimmies so terribly much, but whatevs. People are gonna do crazy in their own sweet little ways, I know that. I just wish you wouldn't have pretended. Doesn't really seem like the godly thing to do, amirite? I expected more from TEXANS. But you go girl - keep on doing your thang. What a total waste of our time, money, and interest. But thanks actually, for the lesson you gave my son on what a friendship is not. That lesson is priceless, and it could only come from people who are not our friends, and never WERE our friends. But hey, you fit right in here in new england now! Cold as ice. Take your bullshit somewhere else, you are NEVER welcome in our lives again. So Christian! You make Christians look bad. Not a very good advertisement for your religion I must say. Wish we never would have met you at the library that day. Over and out. Over and OUT.
