The outdoors is a great place to seek solace from this tumultuous past year. Join Vive NW and TV Jam on January 9th for the first snowshoe adventure of the year! Following all safety and sanitary protocols, we are inviting you to enjoy this incredible snowshoeing excursion up to Tamanawas Falls in the Mt. Hood National Forest. Snowshoes will be provided! This family friendly activity is packed with beautiful views, and an easy-medium but rewarding adventure. We will be following all safety guidelines as approved by OHA and will be limiting the number of participants to 12 people, so be sure to register to reserve your spot today! Face masks are required for this adventure. Suggested age: 12 and up. *Minors must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian* Additional details: Date: January 9th Time: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (meeting time 7:30 am and departing sharply at 8:00 am) What to bring: Be sure to dress in layers and wear sturdy, comfortable boots (waterproof if possible). Plan on packing a hearty lunch, snacks, and a minimum of 2 liters of water per person. Transportation: We will meet at the Whole Foods parking lot on SE Burnside and 28th in Portland.
