We have a 5 year old male walker mix we need to find a home for. Never been in the woods, never hunted. Family pet. Loved out doors most of his life, accustomed to out door living. Although he his house trained. Lease trained. As well as cage/kennel trained. He’s been on an invisible fence his whole life. Needs room to run and be outside. No small fenced back yards or apartment please. Mild tempered. Very territorial. Also very sweet and loving. Does ok with other dogs. Good with kids. Small children under 4 or 5 might need watched at first until he warms up to them. Prefers his own space. Listens well, very Obedient. We’ve taken him on vacations to Tennessee and has been around a cattle farm many times. Not sure how he’d do with chickens or goats. But he won’t tolerate cats. Does a great job at keeping our property clear of coons/possums/squirrels/etc. Up to date on shots. “Entacted” not Neutered. Full disclosure. Unfortunately we had an incident with a fedex delivery driver. He’s been deemed a bit risk and our home owners instance won’t cover him. Needs A country home with a loving family. Small re-homing fee to ensure he won’t end up in dog fights. For the right family/location we’d like to try and stay in contact. We love him to death and hate to let him go. He’s an amazing pup.
