Role Summary:The Material Runner holds responsibility for the administration of material distribution to jobsites and mobile minis.  This role holds responsibility for field material, material returns and purchasing support, as well as support to the Warehouse and Design & Engineering domain. Organizational Relationships: The Material Runner reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and interacts daily with BEI Field Management, Purchasing, Estimators, Starts Coordinators, Designers and RightStart personnel.  Essential Responsibilities: Receives and organizes daily work schedulePicks up orders from distribution centers and deliver to specific locationAccurately documents extra material at each job site and reports findings back to supervisorEnsures jobsites and mobile minis are free from extra materialHolds responsibility for transporting material to and from jobsitesTurns in daily return slips with material for processingAssists the warehouse material processor with returnsRegularly Inventories and verify all material in mobile minisMoves specific materials from jobsite to jobsiteMaintains organized and clean truck stockProvides administrative support to Supervisor and DirectorProvides information and regular reporting to Directors and Executive ManagementQualifications & Skills:General understanding of residential construction, plumbing and materialsAbility to communicate effectivelyHigh degree of attention to detail and ability to organize vast amounts of informationAbility to directly and professionally interact with supplier/builder reps and field personnelAbility to drive for long period of times Ability to work in an outdoor environment and lift up to 50lbPreferred:Background in Residential plumbingStrong oral and written communication skills essentialStrong skills with organizing, coordinating and maintaining information essential3-5 years’ experience in material management role desiredBenefits of this Position…A stable team focused environment Regular hours and occasional overtimeCompany sponsored health, dental and vision insuranceCompany provided life insuranceA great team culture and work environment Please apply online with Brewer Enterprises, Inc. at:
