Choose between a 5K or 1-mile marked route for this snowshoe fun run/walk at Brillion Nature Center. Whether you are an experienced snowshoer with your own equipment or renting Brillion Nature Center's snowshoes for the first time, enjoy moving at your own pace as you snowshoe your choice of trails – either a 5K route or a 1-mile route - through the Brillion Wildlife Area. All program registrants will receive a long-sleeved Winter Sprinter T-shirt. Participants renting equipment from BNC must call ahead to reserve a pair of wood-frame, green mountain style snowshoes. - 920-756-3591 **In the event of no or little snow, the event will proceed as planned, but without snowshoes. In case of dangerous conditions due to ice or extreme cold, participants may reschedule a time during the following 1-week period at their convenience. No refunds will be given to those who choose not to participate. Nestled within the Brillion Wildlife Area is the Brillion Nature Center, a non-profit 501(c)(3) environmental education center located on a 40 acre parcel leased from the WDNR and operated by the Brillion Nature Center Association, Inc.   Our Mission is to provide environmental education opportunities and outdoor experiences for area schools and the general public.
