Wells and Dr. Alvarado for a conversation on building the church's influence on critical issues facing the community today Event OverviewIf someone was asked to share the church’s stance on such critical issues of our day as racial inequity, social, gender, and ecological justice, reproductive rights, historical facticity, Critical Race Theory, and sexual identity, they’d be hard-pressed to come up with a concise answer. Instead, this person would need to share various viewpoints through denominational, political, regional, and racial lenses. Sadly something resembling a unified consensus from the church on anything would be like discovering a unicorn. Join Bishop C.T. Wells, Dr. Jonathan Alvarado and other community leaders for a dynamic 2 day event centered around regaining the church's authority and influence. Recapturing the social and prophetic witness in our day will not be easy, but for the sake of all of us who labor to present Christ authentically, and those who’ve lost hope looking for him among us, it’s worth it.
