Learn how to use the Makerspace screen printing equipment. Learn to use the Bellingham Makerspace's screen printing equipment to print t-shirts using our pre-made screens. You will be able to choose from a number of designs and pick your own colors and t-shirt blank. Participants will learn how to use the screen printing press, flash dryer, and how to clean the equipment and station. This class is required in order to reserve time on the screen printing station. Class Length: 1.5 Hours Prerequisites: None Age range: 12 and up Min/max registrations: 1-6 If you'd like a 50% scholarship discount (no questions asked) email instructor Wakey Nelson at [email protected] Instructor Bio: Wakey works as a professional screen printer for Chibi Yeti (www.chibiyeti.com) where she prints original art as well as providing printing services for artist clients. She enjoys making a mess in the name of art! Important Information COVID-19: Too keep everyone safe; masks (can provide), hand sanitizing (at entrances), temperature checks and social distancing are required at Makerspace. Maximum class size has been reduced to allow for social distancing. Class fees: All class fees include materials. If you are a current Bellingham Makerspace member or scheduled volunteer you may select the discounted member registration. The financially challenged are encouraged to request a 50% off, no questions asked, scholarship discount. Volunteers may be eligible for training discounts. Cancellations: All classes have a minimum number of participants. If the instructor specified number is not reached 24hrs before the class is scheduled to start, the class will be cancelled and any registrations refunded (Eventbrite fees are non refundable). Refund policy: You may request a refund from Eventbrite no later than 24hrs before the class starts (Eventbrite fees are non refundable). After that point instructors and participants are committed and we won't be able to provide any refunds. Donations: Want to help the financially challenged? Donate any amount to the Bellingham Makerspace Scholarship Fund. We want to make it possible for everyone to take the classes they want to take. Other FAQs When and where to arrive?
