Celebrate Burtonville's FIRST Next Generation Dunkin' with Free Coffee for a Year and more! Dunkin’ is celebrating the grand opening of its first Next Generation store in Burtonsville located at 15640 Old Columbia Pike on Saturday, December 4. Starting at 10:00 AM on December 4, the store will reward the first 100 customers with Free Coffee for a Year!* From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, all guests are invited to enjoy a FREE Medium Hot or Iced Coffee**, in addition to live music with a DJ, a balloon artist, face painting, photos with Dunkin’ mascot Cuppy and free giveaways from the Dunkin’ prize wheel. At 11:00 AM, Dunkin’ Franchisees Ketan and Chetan Bhalani of the Jay Bhalani Network will host the store’s official ribbon cutting. Following the ribbon cutting, the Bhalanis will present a check donation for $1,000 to support the Laurel Boys and Girls Club. The grant will help the organization’s mission to provide youth with safe after-school sports/activity programming that promotes productive work ethics, strong critical thinking skills, positive socialization, physical fitness, confidence and responsibility. Following the store’s remodel, Burtonsville’s new Next Gen restaurant now offers a first-hand look at Dunkin’s enhanced store experience, with a modern design that provides a fresh, friendly, vibrant and engaging environment. Exciting elements of the new restaurant experience at the Burtonsville location include: Modern Design: The openness, colors and materials used in the design help to create an approachable, positive and energetic environment. Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are now served through an innovative tap system serving eight consistently cold beverages such as coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee. Crew members will also use top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make hand-crafted drinks to order. Increased Energy Efficiency: Next Gen restaurants are designed to meet DD Green Achievement™ specifications. Stores that achieve DD Green Achievement status are built with sustainable and efficient elements like LED lighting, high-efficiency mechanical equipment, low-flow faucets, and more. DD Green Achievement restaurants are performing better than designed. On average, they are 33% more energy efficient compared to conventional Dunkin' restaurants. Dunkin’ on Demand: With fully-integrated digital kiosks, guests will completely control how they order by choosing to order with or without the help of a crew member. Dunkin’ has also introduced an area dedicated to mobile pickups so that members of the DD Perks® Rewards program who order ahead via Dunkin’s Mobile App can get in and out of the restaurant faster than ever before. For all orders placed for pick up inside the restaurant, guests will be able to track the status of their order via a new digital order status board. The 2,300 square-foot restaurant employs 16 crew members and is open daily from 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM. The Next Gen Dunkin’ is also a Baskin-Robbins combo store, and it offers complimentary Wi-Fi for guests and indoor and outdoor seating.
