Position Summary : Responsible for inspections at various locations and becoming a Certified Technician while obtaining the skills needed to inspect and maintain fire extinguishers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Inspects, recharges and replaces fire extinguishers in the shop and at customer locations. Maintains a safe and clean working environment free from hazards. Breaks down and scraps expired materials from the fire extinguishers in the shop. Operates the Air Pressure Test Machine, the Hopper Filler and all other machinery in a safe manner. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Must have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office, IT and computer systems. Must have a working knowledge of safety rules in a manufacturing environment. Must be organized and detail oriented and be able to prioritize projects and duties while working in a team environment. Must be able to respond quickly and calmly to emergency situations. Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Level of Education and Experience : Must have a high school diploma or equivalency, and a valid, unexpired driver’s license. Certification and training provided within the company.
