AESP Northeast is excited to host our Holiday Party - our first in person event in nearly two years! Dear AESP NE Chapter Members, We are pleased to announce our first in-person social networking event in 2 years on Thursday, December 16th in Boston. We look forward to seeing you all! Admission will be $20 per attendee where you receive two drink tickets and complimentary hors d’oeurvres. A donation in the amount of $500 from the event will be provided to the Greater Boston Food Bank! Additional donations, via the donations ticket selection, are greatly appreciated. We look forward to seeing many of you on December 16th. Please see below for additional COVID protocols and details from AESP. Sincerely, AESP Northeast Chapter Board of Directors COVID-19 POLICY AESP will be adhering to CDC guidelines and the following protocols will be in place. We strongly recommend that you get vaccinated prior to the event. Face masks will be provided, and social distancing will be encouraged. Please note that the City of Boston requires the wearing of masks while indoors with the exception of when actively eating and/or drinking. WAIVER OF LIABILITY: AESP continues to monitor policy and procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic. The safety and well-being of our members, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and staff, is our top priority. We are collaborating with federal, state, and local agencies to implement best practices aimed at managing the spread of the novel and complex virus. AESP has put in place preventive measures to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. However, AESP, under no circumstances, is able to guarantee that you will not become infected with the virus while attending this networking event. Adherence to AESP event policy will be continuously monitored by AESP NE Chapter Leadership. By completing your registration for this event, you release AESP of liability and acknowledge the following: • The contagious and evolving nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to the virus and become infected as a result. • The risk of becoming infected may impact members of the AESP community, event guests, and event attendee’s families or personal contacts. • You voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any expense, liability, illness, injury, disability, or death related to contracting the virus while attending this event. • You hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless AESP from all claims of any kind associated with COVID-19. • You understand and agree that release of liability includes any claims towards AESP, whether a COVID-19 infection occurrence exists before, during, or after attendance and participation at this event. • You agree to be bound by all terms of this event attendee waiver and release of liability, as indicated by the completion of your registration for this event.
