Winter Blues Jazz Fest is back for its 8th year! The Winter Blues Jazz Fest is back for its 8th year!! 4 Days - 8 Events Event Overview: The four-day Winter Blues Jazz Fest is back for its 8th year! It will take place January 13-16, 2022. The over-riding goal is to provide an enriching and entertaining weekend full of jazz and blues programs with options available to suit all tastes and budgets. The Winter Blues Jazz Fest has a little something for everyone. We will kick things off on Thursday, January 13 at the Williamsburg Winery at 7pm. The very talented Tahira Clayton form New York will be our opening night entertainment. Friday brings us two events, our very popular Mixology & Music, featuring a mixology cocktail sampling, live music performance by hometown favorite Good Shot Judy 7pm-9pm. The late night event will feature live music by Michael Hawkins and the Brotherhood 9:30pm - 11.30pm at Culture Cafe, one of our favorite spots in town. Saturday's event lineup will once again be an unforgettable day. Spend the day tasting great beer, wine and cider at the Big Bluesy, featuring live blues music on 2 stages. Lurrie Bell on one stage and TBD on the other. Add in some delicious food offerings and this will be one party you don't want to miss! Saturday night's signature event will be back in the beautiful Virginia room and will feature the world famous “Blind Boys of Alabama”, we are so excited to have these guys perform for us. Saturday’s Late night Speakeasy will be down the street at The Copper Fox Distillery. Fantastic cocktails and yummy mocktails will be served while listening to the incredibly talented Micha Dovey. Sunday, January 16th, we have our amazing Sunday Brunch at the Williamsburg Lodge. This year’s entertainment will be one of our crowd favorites from a past Winter Blues Jazz Fest “Sidecar Social Club” outta North Carolina. Our free afternoon Festival Chill Out will feature the brand new “Matt Fattal Big Band” Thank you to our sponsors, City of Williamsburg, Williamsburg Event Rentals. WMBG Radio and Tide Radio as our marketing partners and local businesses, local musicians, and the hospitality industry at large.
