NEW YEAR'S EVE COUNTDOWN ON THE RIVER AT THE WESTIN NEW ORLEANS Join us at The Westin New Orleans Canal Place for our annual New Year's Eve celebration.  Guests will enjoy a live DJ, photobooth, an inspiring menu, champagne toast, and panoramic views of an impressive riverfront fireworks display at midnight. MENU Gourmet reception menu and culinary demonstration stations begin at 8pm. The decadent menu features Chef's degustation of Cured Meats, Domestic and International Cheeses, a Chilled Seafood Bar, House Made Charcuterie, and Dry Aged Steak Carving. Guests will also be treated to unique Hors d' Oeuvre's, Louisiana favorites like Smoked Duck & Andouille Gumbo, Seared to order crabcakes with corn maque choux, and Desserts include Petit Fours, Mini Pastries, Cakes, Pies and Fresh Berries. DJ Babbam Belonge is a New Orleans native that is a legend of the city’s entertainment and nightlife scene. The former 14 year radio personality, mix show Dj (FM 98.5 WYLD). His versatility takes you through R&B, Hip-Hop, House, Pop, Disco, Reggae, Latin and more. Belonge will dance you out of those heels, sweat you out of that suit, and knows how to drop a good slow jam! For 8 years now, Dj Bambam Belonge has energized Empowerment audiences at Essence Festival before such names as Alicia Keys, Steve Harvey, Chaka Khan and recently, Oprah Winfrey! His other credits include NBA All-Star, Official City of New Orleans Mardi Gras, Porsche, New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and a host of other concerts, festivals, and celebrity and socialite events. At midnight, enjoy the City's most breathtaking, travel+leisure acclaimed view of the riverfront fireworks display, along with champagne and party favors.
