EKY ASD & SPD & The City of Prestonsburg are pleased to provide a safe space for Christmas Activities and a Sensory Santa. The City of Prestonsburg is pleased to provide a sensory night at Archer park, this Christmas season. This will provide a less stimulating environment for kids and adults with special needs. The event will take place December 14th from 6-8. A golf cart ride will be provided for those who can’t fully enjoy and get full effect of lights in a closed vehicle. A sensory Santa, and our Christmas characters will be there for meet and greet. The carnival rides will be open to ride this night as well. The idea behind this project is so this community can participate without standing in lines or being over crowded. Golf cart rides for those in need will also be available every Tuesday night from December 7th on for the remainder of the light show.
