Hi, This is a start-up that may turn into a pass-the-hat gig. You are an intermediate to advanced level percussionist who has a variety of percussion instruments and is drug & alcohol free. Americana is contemporary music that incorporates elements of various American roots music styles, including country, roots-rock, folk, bluegrass, R&B and blues, resulting in a distinctive roots-oriented sound that lives in a world apart from the pure forms of the genres upon which it may draw. If it goes well, I will establish a monthly, bi weekly or weekly jam in Manhattan or Brooklyn. Michael
