Join us at the Governor's Inn & Restaurant for a banquet to raise money for Mat LeFebvre! The event features artist Matt Gelinas. If you don't know Mat's story, on the morning of October 11, 2021, just before 6am, Mat LeFebvre was struck by a vehicle during his morning run in Rochester near the Home Depot and Burger King. He was wearing a strobing head lamp, front and back flashers, and had reflective clothing. After being struck by the vehicle, he was dragged underneath it for a period of time before the vehicle stopped. After a brief stop, the vehicle started again, this time, running up and over his back with the rear tire. The vehicle did not stop, and fled the scene heading down Twombly Street. Mat is a husband and a father to 3 adorable boys. He is one of the nicest, most genuine people you could ever meet, and he did not deserve this. This event is to help raise money for Mat and his family during this difficult time. The event is hosted by Governor's Inn and features artist Matt Gelinas. In addition, it is catered by Fallen Leaf Bistro, Lilac City Grill, Mr. Sippy's, and Mitchell Hill BBQ. During the event, there will be numerous raffles and silent auction items donated from local businesses. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the family.
