HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT FOREMAN
TOWN OF LEYDEN
The Town of Leyden is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Highway Foreman. The Foreman is responsible for providing assistance to the Highway Superintendent regarding the management and provision of department services in a safe and efficient manner. During the temporary absences of the Highway Superintendent, the employee is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Highway Department. The Foreman is required to perform all similar or related duties as directed by the department head.
Recommended Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree or an equivalent journeyman's level of trade knowledge; a minimum of five to seven (5-7) years prior work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Special Requirements: Valid CDL Motor Vehicle Driver's License with a Hoisting license.
