Swap Don't Shop is a free clothing swap event hosted at Gravitate Coworking Downtown where you bring clothes and swap for new clothes! Swap Don't Shop is a free clothing swap event hosted at Gravitate Coworking Downtown on Sunday the 12th. Please bring any clothes you no longer want and “shop” for "new to you“ clothing items, for free! All that we ask is that your items be cleaned and folded/hung and placed in the proper spot upon arrival. Clothing for all genders is encouraged! If you have any hangers that you would like to donate we would gladly take them off your hands! We will also be providing direct donation bins for the following, you can bring items for these organizations and place them in the bins before swapping! I support the girls -gently used/new bras -new with tags underwear -menstrual products (Specifically in need of sports bras, menstrual disks, and hair products for textured/curly hair) Warmth drive We will have a box specially for warmth gear such as -coats -hats -thick socks -snow boots -thermal clothing All items will be organized and donated to various organizations across Des Moines! Career Closet -used or new professional clothing for all ages, genders and sizes. A workplace community for entrepreneurs, freelancers and remote workers.
