New Year's Women's Retreat for Bringing in 2022! - a MURMURATION! @Oak Grove Retreat, Tarrboro NC 12/31/2021 - 1/2/2022 Description A Murmuration is a wonderous spectacle seen in the air, in the water, and even on land, where birds or fish or 4 leggeds swirl in large groups as one entity... rippling spinning, plunging, and ascending in unison. If you are ready to spark your journey of awareness beyond yourself, to connect to yourself and that which is greater than self, .. join us as we bring in the energies of the Divine Feminine through rituals of fire circle, drumming, chanting, sound healing, dance and water ceremony to bring in the New Year of 2022! Participants are welcome to join us for the full event schedule or in an a-la-carte fashion (each day will have it’s own programing, so if you can only come to part of the event programming, we welcome you!) . Friday eve will be the celebration of the last sunset of 2021 with gathering around the fire, ceremony of fire circle, sharing of stories of 2021 and wishes for 2022. We will share a light meal (vegetarian friendly) to deepen our communion together. We will have a candlelight ceremony in the non-denominational Chapel and then we will continue to create a ceremony of drum and chant and dance until midnight. Saturday all day - We will arise for a full day of awakening and healing rituals using the sacred space of St. Anne's Chapel. We will gather on this day inside the Chapel and outside on the grounds to begin this New Year with the intention of creating awakening and healing practices. Light meals - vegan friendly will be shared during this day of attunement. Through-out this day retreat, you can expect a raising of your own frequency and refinement of personal clarity for birthing what is next for you. You will also be gaining discernment for letting go of what is no longer connected to your frequency and even find forgiveness for the burdens of past hurts. Songs, of transition and metamorphosis will be woven throughout Sunday morning- Starting with an embracing of the New Level of personal;goals. Encouragement and reinforcing of identified next steps, Final council on launching for 2022! We are partnering with Oak Grove Retreat Center - Tricia Wilson, Cindy Jones. Chris Geith, and Kathy King are co-hosts for this event. ***************************************** Rates are suggested as follows: Friday eve (New Year’s Eve) - $50 Saturday full day (New Year’s Day) - $150 Sunday morning (Day after New Year’s ) - $30 Total Weekend (discount) - $220 includes all 3 days plus meals infused with love. (GF/DairyFree/Vegan options available) ***************************************** We are asking that only those who identify as female come to this event. (Transgender who identify as female are welcome). Scholarships are available. Please ask! Bring - -Water bottle -Warm blankets and layers -Walking shoes -Chair -Drums or percussion items if you have them (loaner drums will be available) -Flashlight ~spending money for crafts and extra healing sessions that will be offered through-out the event We will be practicing safety protocol when inside St Anne's Chapel to include safe distance and mask wearing. There are area facilities for overnight stay (see local listings for Rocky Mount: Holiday Inn,Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn, DoubleTree). For the adventurous, if you feel up to car camping/ you are welcome to stay on the property overnight.
