We believe that everyone can benefit from DBT, which is why we are thrilled to introduce our first DBT Wellness Retreat on Saturday, January 23 from 9am to 4pm. Designed for motivated, self-help oriented people--this relaxing, educational workshop will give you the essential skills to help you thrive in everyday life. We won't ask you to share your full name or personal information, or otherwise make you do awkward group stuff. This event is for professionals and non-professionals from all walks of life. Come just for the day or spend the night in one of AC Hotel's modern European guest rooms with our special event rate. AC Hotel in the heart of Bricktown is a sophisticated, airy venue with plenty of room to observe COVID precautions comfortably. An Oklahoma City Streetcar stop is just steps away as you enjoy lunch on your own or a night on the town. Morning mindfulness meditation led by Awake OKC. Shayla Hanna LPC/LADC Candidate will be your guide. Shayla is deeply passionate about DBT and believes in the power it brings to clients who feel lost and alone. She was raised in Ponca City, Oklahoma, and completed both her Bachelor's degree in Family Studies and Gerontology, and Master's degree in Counseling Psychology at Southern Nazarene University. While not working, Shayla enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and three dogs, and swimming.
