FARMERS CONS CUSTOMER AND DOES REFUSES TO PAY CLAIMS!!! I am sending this notice to any and all neighbors whom may have renter’s insurance and/or car insurance with Farmers Insurance. This letter is to show the actual actions Farmers Insurance did. #1 Farmers Insurance charged my debit card 6 months’ advance for my car insurance. I never gave permission nor have ever paid 6 months in advance for my insurance. This caused numerous checks to bounce with over draft fees exceeding $200. #2. Because I cancelled the 6 months’ payment, we are now heading to court because Farmers sent cancelled payment to collections, even though I was paying monthly. #3 My truck was burglarized at apartment complex (I previously had auto AND renter’s insurance with Farmers) Farmers reply was I am only covered for $200 of the stolen and damaged property, their position was everything was for business? Even though I paid for possessions of above $25,000. I had several cell phones, computers and many power tools, some I have owned for over 4 years. I paid 6 months in advance and have had coverage for over 18 months.
