Primary responsibility is to provide vehicle maintenance and minor repair services on a safe and cost-effective basis. Operates varied equipment according to set procedures and guidelines while performing tire repair and replacement, wash bay services, lube and oil changes and minor truck repair. Coordinates work assignments and progress with shop manager. Cleans bays and maintains bay equipment. Miscellaneous work assignments around the travel center. Must be attentive to safety concerns by making sure messes are cleaned properly and promptly to eliminate safety hazards. Experience: Mechanical repair, maintenance, or shop experience helpful, but not required. Estimated Lifting Requirement: 100 pounds
