We’ve got some news that will set you on :fire: Raku firings will be back every first and third Saturday of the month starting January 2021! It’s been such a tough year and we can believe it’s over. Eric had planned to demo school firings in January of this year, come to find we’d all be quarantining and maintaining a safe 6’ distance to ensure our mutual well being. We’re excited for continuous Raku adventures and a time to rejoice the spontaneous results that come from a community gathering and a well deserved first firing on January 16th, 2021! If you’re new to our social media profile, WELCOME! Here’s a brief on what to expect at a Raku firing: We start at 10 A.M and fire until all the pieces are done. The cut off time to glaze is at 12PM, be sure to get here on time! Glazes for self-application are provided, and our extremely knowledgeable Raku facilitator Eric will be present to fire and answer any questions. There is a limit of 4 small to medium sized bisqued vessels.
