Capture the Holiday Lights! The holidays look a lot different this year, for the past couple of years we have hosted this outing, to explore long exposure photography and capture all the pretty decorations downtown. Elements like the Carousel at Westlake aren't set up this year, however Pike Place Market is decked out with layers of color. In this small outing Kate will lead you through steps on creating long exposures, capturing light trails and working in lower light with your cameras. She will also provide tips on compostion and answer questions that you have so that you leave this outing with some great shots. Prior to the event Kate will share a PDF of notes for you to use during the session, we recommend having this on your phone or handy so that you can reference during the event. Kate will bring a few light painting tools to use too! One ticket, per person. If you cannot make the event, please ask for a refund, so that we can make that slot available for those on the wait list. Only 4 spots available.In the event all tickets aren't sold, the event will be cancelled and tickets refunded. WHAT TO BRINGCamera & Lens (wide angle lenses could be really great for this outing)Tripod & cable release if you want to try some slower exposures (highly recommended!!)Your creative, holiday spirit :) Layers! It will be chilly!  COVID SAFETYThis event has a limit of 4 people to keep to the guidelines set up by our governor. By registering for this event you are agreeing to follow these guidelines: Masks must be worn at ALL times, covering both the mouth and the nose.Attendees will maintain social distancing. This event will be lead by Kate Hailey. About Kate Hailey Kate is a Portrait & Travel Photographer based in Seattle. Kate’s work is a mix of studio portraiture to street photography, blending in movement and stories along the way.
