DesginHer 2021 Design(her) is a high-energy conference for the 6th through 12th grade girls and has been hosted by First Baptist Church in Starke, Florida since 2011. The goal of Design(her) is to disciple young ladies, teaching them to worship Jesus more intimately, build Godly relationships, and develop a heart to reach others. Friday Info: On Friday night of the conference, it has been a tradition to come dressed in semi-formal attire. However, please come in whatever makes you feel comfortable. (as long as it is modest). The girls will be directed to a photo opportunity and then to dinner. After dinner, we will have our first session with worship and a message. After the evening session concludes, church leaders are encouraged to discuss the message in home groups. The girls will receive shirts to wear on Saturday morning. Saturday Info: On Saturday, the girls will need to check in wearing their conference shirt (they will receive this on Friday night) and jeans. Breakfast will be provided that morning. We will have our second session after breakfast with worship and a message. We will then have alternating middle school & high school Q&A breakout sessions and lunch. We are thrilled to announce our guest speaker this year is Helen Elizabeth Peters. Helen is a Christian Social Media Influencer, blogger and podcast host; as well as the creator of 'Your Best New Self Ministries', which is a faith-based ministry helping young women just like you find Biblical answers to everyday dilemmas through down-to-earth conversation from a Christian perspective. Design(her) Alumni: This year were opening our conference up to Design(her) Alumni. If you have attended this conference as a student, we want to see you back here leading the way for young women.
