For the past 10 years, Kristen has been a dedicated Special Education Teacher in the Christina School District. Currently she has to take a leave of absence from work to attend her chemotherapy treatments. This causes a negative impact minimizing her income used to care for her children to pay for health insurance and the surmounting deductibles and co-pays.
