Press release from the Newton South High School PTSO: November 30, 2021 Dear Newton South Families: "The English department is looking for a substitute teacher to cover two sophomore English classes for a teacher on medical leave starting as soon as possible through Thursday, December 23. While we recognize that this request is unconventional, we have exhausted other means to hire a substitute. The time commitments are as follows: Monday 11:45 AM – 1:25 PM Tuesday 1:25 PM – 2:30 PM Wednesday 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM Thursday 11:40 AM – 1:30 PM Friday 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM, 2:30 PM – 3:45 PM Thank you for your consideration."
