Press release from the Needham Public School Superintendent's Blog: November 30, 2021 Like principals across Massachusetts and the country, Needham principals have been dealing this school year with unexpected and often challenging student behavior. Much of the behavior is a result of students being together again and full-time in the school setting and relearning what it means to work alongside peers in the classroom, on the playground, or even riding on the bus. One of Needham's school leaders, High Rock Principal Jessica Downey, recently shared with families how the school has been addressing difficult student behavior, including acts of graffiti and racist and homophobic taunts.
