NEWTOWN, CT — Newtown is looking to fill vacancies on two boards and one commission, and residents who may be interested should submit a resume to the town by Dec. 22, according to officials. The available positions are as follows; note that the vacancies are based on a resident's registered voting status by political party or unaffiliated standing: The Public Building and Site Commission has an alternate vacancy available to a Democrat or unaffiliated voter. The Design Advisory Board has an alternate vacancy available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter. Resumes are due by December 22.The C.H.
