At Old World Winery we are seeking help with our Regenerative Agriculture business through a position that includes viticulture, winemaking, machinery operation, site maintenance, and minor construction as skills allow. We are a small winery operation that manages multiple small vineyards in different locations in addition to producing a soil amendment for Regenerative Agriculture. This position will aid in monitoring soil health and carbon sequestration at our sites in Sonoma County. To view this on our website go to Applicant will work under the guidance of Owner Darek Trowbridge, who has 35 years farming experience, 23 years as a natural winemaker and 12 years as a Regenerative Soil Health builder. We are a small team that is growing. Apartment housing in Santa Rosa is available. Responsibilities Monitor and aid field activities during the growing season Tractor operation for multiple tasks Truck hauling of equipment and supplies Aid harvest activities in vineyard/orchard Process grapes and apples at winery, sanitation of winery equipment, aid year round management of barrels and bottling at winery Operate loader and monitor production of Soil Health Amendment Qualifications 3+ years relevant experience including but not limited to agricultural machinery and/or construction equipment operation Valid Driver's License Possess a positive attitude with strong communication skills Value generosity, honesty, accountability, diversity, and curiosity!
