Seeking a quick-thinking, hard-working problem solver to work on a broad range of jobs within our startup HDPE pipe business for shipping, receiving, packing, and delivery of poly pipe and accessories. This is a growth-oriented business with a lot of room for upward mobility over time. We are in the mid-start-up phase and are looking for a self-starter who does not look around for others to solve the problem but finds ways to solve it themself. This position would be responsible for loading heavy poly pipe reels with equipment, safely tying down heavy loads, delivering those loads in rural locations and unloading those same loads. Additionally light plumbing onsite at delivery locations will be part of the job so plumbing experience is essential. Having experience with the trades, safe rural off-road driving, and equipment operation will be key to the success of this position. The job may include developing a system for organizing and inventorying pipe and fittings as well as creating shipping protocols. Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities: 1. Packing and picking and shipping complex parts orders 2. Delivering water pipe parts (Mostly in-state delivery with some out of state, experience driving and loading trailers is essential ) 3. Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. 4. Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products. 5. Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. 6. Maintains a clean, neat, and work-ready area. 7. Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks new inventory. 8. Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately. 9. Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. Competitive salary commensurate with experience Shipping and Receiving Qualifications/Skills: 1. Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock 2. Problem solver with the ability to overcome obstacles 3. Receiving, stocking, and stacking 4. Pulling, packing, and loading 5. Driving with trailers and operating other equipment such as a backhoe 6. Ability to unload large inventory off of trailers using equipment or directing equipment 7. Safely tying down unconventional loads of materials on trailers 8. Good written and verbal communication skills 9. Strong sense of time organization and urgency 10. Able to work independently and within a team 11. Plumbing experience 12. Self-starter with experience working independently on a ranch or in the field Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: 1. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent 2.
