Senior Alert Issued For Missing Loudoun County Man: Police

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A 78-year-old man from South Riding is missing, according to a senior alert issued by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office and Virginia State Police. Authorities believe the man, Richard Nyren, may be endangered due to health concerns. The sheriff's office said that Nyren was last seen leaving his home on Elk Place on Tuesday evening. He left his home in a red 1989 Toyota Camry with the tag "OKS824." The car has a faded area on the hood, authorities said. At the time of his disappearance, Nyren was wearing a yellow turtleneck, blue jeans, and black boots. He is about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs around 175 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes.
