This workshop helps staff work effectively with DREAMers as well as help to reduce barriers and be inclusive. This workshop is geared toward administrators and staff who may want to expand their knowledge about working effectively with DREAMers as well as how to be inclusive and reduce barriers for them. We will also, explore the current education bills in the legislation of Washington State and the impact that they will have for DREAMers. This is going to help the Social Equity mission of Clark College - “Facilitate student learning by providing the conditions that improve educational outcomes and eliminate systemic disparities among all groups-- Demonstrate improved intercultural competency among employees and students through comprehensive professional development and curricular transformation.”
