On-Site Staffing Services is seeking Long Term Service Technician for a company out in the New Berlin, WI area. Position Summary: The Service Technician uses customer service and educational skills to ensure safe filling, delivery, setup and use of equipment. They maintain a quality provider image for the company in the community. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Drive and maneuver truck or van to load, unload, complete daily transport, delivery and disbursement of oxygen tanks, equipment, and related products to customers • Load/unload oxygen or equipment from truck/van to deliver, disburse, replace, or remove oxygen to customer or facility • Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods: Secure oxygen for transport using belted safety strap system • Obtain receipt of delivered goods, collect payment; check, maintain and complete load-related documentation for daily route assignment • Educate customers within their home or long-term care facility on proper use and care of equipment; Prepare setup, service and test oxygen or equipment once placed in facility or residence • Comply with all applicable company policies and procedures • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company, and all applicable Government Regulations as well as Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) and Compressed Gas Association related material • Manage the territory to reach service goals and deliver equipment and oxygen as required in accordance with industry standards and government regulations. Including: US Department of Transportation (DOT), and US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines • Complete written patient visits reports including plans of care and follow-up forms • Assist in resolving customer equipment problems and complaints on an as needed basis • Develop a basic knowledge of necessary reimbursement information and documentation for compliance with Joint Commissions Standards • Assume on call responsibilities during non-business hours in accordance with company policies and procedures Qualification & Credential Requirements: • Education/Experience – High School diploma or general education or 1 to 3 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to speak English and communicate well with customers. Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions. Good communication skills • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure • Ability to work independently, organize and manage multiple priorities with little supervision, and process orders in a timely, accurate manner • Actively promotes and personally observes all safety and security procedures, and uses all equipment and materials properly • Ability to effectively use 2-wheeler, stair climber and cylinder carts to assist with lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling • Must be able to perform duties in all weather extremes • Must have a Valid Commercial Drivers License with Tanker and Hazardous Material endorsements (C) • Must pass a mandated drug test • Must pass a 100% background • Must pass a physical capability test • Must pass an acceptable motor vehicle record check • Must pass a DOT Physical 1st Shift Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm $18.00/hr.
