Baltimore Ravens Game Against Packers Changes Times: NFL

BALTIMORE, MD — The National Football League has moved one of the game times for the Baltimore Ravens in December. The Ravens will host the Green Bay Packers at 4:25 p.m. rather than at 1 p.m. as previously scheduled on Sunday, Dec. 19. Both teams are their division leaders, the NFL reported Tuesday. The Packers (9-3) lead the NFC North, while the Ravens (8-3) lead the AFC North as of Tuesday. As the season progresses, the league shifts games to provide a "bigger audience to those contests that have greater meaning to the overall playoff picture," according to CBS Sports. When the Ravens play the Packers at 4:25 p.m., the game at M&T Bank Stadium will be broadcast on Fox. The Ravens and Packers are not the only ones with a schedule change. On Dec. 12, the 49ers-Bengals game has been moved to 4:25 p.m. on CBS and the Saints-Jets game will be broadcast on CBS at 1 p.m., the NFL also announced Tuesday. The NFL fined the Packers, quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wide receiver Allen Lazard for COVID-19 violations in mid-November. The Packers must pay $300,000 to the league, while Rodgers and Lazard were both fined $14,560 for violating league protocols, NFL Vice President of Communications Brian McCarthy told USA Today. The league found that Rodgers and Lazard consistently did not wear masks in the team facility and attended a Halloween party without masks, in violation of rules for unvaccinated members, USA Today reported.
