California School Employee’s Asscoiciation (CSEA) Pacifica Chapter 128 Announcement CSEA Pacifica Chapter 128 has a long-standing history of fundraising for and donating money to student scholarships for Pacifica School District students attending the Outdoor Education Program, a week-long Science Curriculum Camp at Jones Gulch in La Honda, CA. Our chapter made these scholarships available so that all PSD 5th grade students could participate regardless of their families economic status. Since The Pacifica School District now completely funds the annual Outdoor Education Program for all students, these funds have not been accessed. In order to continue our philanthropic endeavors, CSEA Chapter 128 membership has approved changing the name of the CSEA Chapter 128 Outdoor Education Fund to the CSEA Chapter 128 Youth and Family Fund. CSEA Pacifica Chapter 128 has a long-standing history for donating monies to the Pacifica Resource Center, Pacificans Care, CSEA Chapters impacted by fires and other natural disasters, classified school district employees and students and families in Pacifica. Before this process can be completed, we must legally allow anyone that can prove they donated to the April 18, 2015 CSEA Flea Market Fundraiser that benefited the CSEA Outdoor Education Fund an opportunity to request a refund. This refund does not apply to booth rental fees, concession purchases or purchases from vendors that rented booths at the event. Proof of this donation in the form of an original receipt or paid check is required and must be submitted by December 15, 2021.
