Doing something about Climate change

I'm looking for parents, grandparents and concerned citizens who want to do something locally about climate change. I'd prefer people with children in either junior high or high school as these children are the ones who will suffer the most from climate change. As is typical of any idea that is more than just an empty slogan, it is too involved to explain in a post. If enough people are interested, I'd like to get something started.
