Kelzenberg won a seat on the Stillwater school board during the 2021 election after his opponent dropped out of the race. He replaced Christopher Kunze, who held the seat on an interim basis following former board member Liz Weisberg's resignation in the summer.
Kelzenberg will hold the seat for one year to finish out Weisberg's term.
