HANCOCK PARK, CA — Two thieves followed a mother and her baby home from a park in Hancock Park this week and robbed her in broad daylight. The entire incident was caught by a security camera, and police hope someone will recognize the brazen robbers. The robbery occurred Sunday evening around 5 p.m., according to detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's Wilshire Division. The robbers waited for the woman pushing her infant in a stroller to open the security gate leading to her home, and then they ran in after her and demanded she hand over her property. "Fearing for her and her child's safety, the victim complied and allowed suspect-1 to take her diaper bags and bottle cooler," the LAPD said in a written statement. "The two suspects proceed to run into a waiting vehicle that was parked across the street from the victim's home and flee northbound from the location." The vehicle was a silver sedan with tinted windows. The suspects were two men believed to be between 20 and 29-years-old. One was wearing a light-colored mask, a black hoodie, red sweat pants (with white writing/logo), and white shoes.
