LIVERMORE, CA — The Holiday Sights & Sounds Parade is back this Saturday after taking a hiatus last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Show up at 6 p.m. to enjoy the First Street parade featuring marching bands, light displays, music and local businesses. Former Mayor John Marchand will be honored for his years of public service to the city and his commitment to downtown, according to Livermore Downtown, which organized the event. Rumor has it that Santa Claus himself will be in attendance.
