BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Warwick police arrested a suspect believed to have stolen multiple long guns and handguns on Tuesday afternoon, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office announced Wednesday. The Warwick Township Police Department received emergency information at 1:30 p.m. that 32-year-old David Bruno Jasiulewicz was suspected to have stolen the firearms in a burglary at the Mansfield Barracks. Troopers considered Jasiulewicz armed and dangerous, saying he was possibly suicidal and had threatened to kill family members and any police that tried to intervene. Following up on this information, officers found Jasiulewicz's car in the parking lot of a business they believed he was patronizing. Shortly afterward, he came out of the business and drove away. Officers stopped Jasiulewicz on Campus Drive near Mearns Road. He did not comply with police instructions, instead getting out of his car and walking toward Mearns Road, threatening violence against himself and police. Officers said they utilized "several less lethal options" to subdue the suspect, and he was successfully arrested. Officers charged Jasiulewicz with a first-degree felony of persons not to possess firearms, a third-degree felony of firearms not to be carried without a license, a second-degree misdemeanor of resisting arrest, and a misdemeanor of disorderly conduct. He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Maggie Snow and was committed to Bucks County Correctional Facility under $50,000 bail. Additional charges are expected to be filed by Pennsylvania State Police, according to the DA's office. The Warwick Police Department received assistance from the Warminster Police Department, the Warrington Police Department, and the FBI Bucks/Mont Safe Streets Task Force.
