There's a big pile of small branches collected from trimming trees, which we'd like to convert to chips. None of them are over 3" thick, and most of them are around 1" in diameter. The whole pile is about 20' long, 15' wide, and 6' high - it's a big pile.
You can actually LOOK at the pile - it's at the corner of Glenmoor Rd and Grand River Ave, on the border between East Lansing and Lansing. The pile is mostly on Ranney Park property, but it doesn't really have anything to do with the park - that's just where it got stacked by the guy who was trimming trees.
Unless you have strong feelings otherwise, we'll provide one or two people to help drag branches to your chipper, but we'll let you operate it and do the actual feeding. We'll just provide grunt work to speed things up. We'll wear goggles and gloves.
Give me a price for the first two hours of chipping, and an hourly rate if the work goes past two hours.
There's no rush to get this done, so you can fit it into your schedule.
