Description

Press release from the University of Alaska Anchorage: November 30, 2021 Interested in learning about open educational resources and other zero-cost (or ZTC, the acronym for "zero textbook cost") course materials? Interested in exploring available OER/ZTC materials for your courses? UAA Textbook Affordability and the UAA/APU Consortium Library have joined forces to bring you the OER/ZTC Certificate with a goal of increasing awareness and ensuring faculty have the essential knowledge needed to successfully transition courses to OER/ZTC. This self-paced opportunity was designed to allow you flexibility in choosing which training and deliverables to pursue that meet program outcomes. Further, it honors any prior efforts you've made by giving credit for trainings you may have already attended and for work you may have already done. Individuals at UAA and APU who complete the Certificate program by May 20, 2022, may be eligible to receive a $300 completion award (see eligibility requirements at the link below).
